Vivo introduced the Vivo Y500 Pro in China on Monday, November 10. This new smartphone in the Vivo Y series operates using a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor and features a 6.67-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution. The device is equipped with a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 camera sensor and includes a large 7,000mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. Additionally, the phone has an IP68+IP69 rating, meaning it is resistant to dust and water. The Vivo Y500 Pro is priced at CNY 1,799, which is around Rs. 22,000, for the version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The models with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage are priced at CNY 1,999 (about Rs. 25,000), CNY 2,299 (around Rs. 28,000), and CNY 2,599 (approximately Rs. 32,000), respectively. The phone is available in four colors: Auspicious Cloud, Light Green, Soft Powder, and Titanium Black.
The Vivo Y500 Pro uses dual SIMs and operates on Android 16 with OriginOS 6. It has a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 1,260×2,800 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a peak brightness of 5000nits, and a screen-to-body ratio of 94.10 percent. The phone runs on an octa-core 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, and can be paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB UFS2.2 storage. For photography, the Vivo Y500 Pro comes with a dual rear camera system featuring a primary sensor of 200 megapixels with an f/1.88 aperture and a depth sensor of 2 megapixels with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calls, there is a 32-megapixel front camera with an f/2.45 aperture. Connectivity options include 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, A-GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, OTG, Wi-Fi, NavIC, and a USB Type-C port. The phone includes several sensors like an e-compass, gyroscope, gravity sensor, infrared remote control, photosensitive sensor, and a proximity sensor. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner for secure access, along with facial recognition support. The Vivo Y500 Pro has a 7,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging capabilities. Its dimensions are 160.23×74.51×7.81mm and it weighs 198g.
