A woman has been charged with kidnapping her own children from the home of their foster parents. The woman named Antoinette Knox took her two biological children to her residence, where they were recovered.

On July 17, the 26-year old woman too a 9-month-old boy and a 4-year-old girl to her residence in the 900 block of East 80th Street.

Charges were filed against the woman alleging her of kidnapping her two biological children. The two young children live with their foster parent in Chatham area, in the South Side.

According to reports, Knox does not possess the legal custody of the children. She took them with her during a pre-scheduled supervised visit.

Authorities found the children on Sunday in good condition at Knox's residence in the 8000 block of South Marchfield Avenue.

Knox has been charged with two felony counts of child abduction. The 26-year old woman will appear in a bond court on Tuesday.
