Mini has recently unveiled a new program for the Mini Cooper S (3-door), introducing a price protection initiative aimed at simplifying the buying experience for customers. This initiative seeks to ensure that any forthcoming price reductions will directly benefit purchasers. Mr. Vikram Pawah, who serves as the President and CEO of BMW Group India, remarked, "Mini has consistently represented innovation and a dynamic spirit. With the introduction of the price protection program for the Mini 3-Door Cooper S, the brand is proactively ensuring that customers enjoy the benefits of any significant price decreases that may arise from impending duty reductions. This allows individuals to secure their preferred Mini without delay in their purchasing decision. This bold move highlights the brand's strong commitment to customer focus, trustworthiness, and the best interests of the MINI community."
The price protection offering applies exclusively to the Mini 3-Door Cooper S available in India, which is sold as a fully assembled unit produced at the Mini Plant in Oxford, United Kingdom. Additionally, the company asserts that cars purchased under this limited-time program will receive coverage for the next 180 days. Should a price drop occur within this timeframe, the corresponding dealership will reimburse the difference between the initially invoiced price and the revised ex-showroom price to the customer. The current starting ex-showroom price for the Mini 3-Door Cooper S is Rs 44,90,000. Customers can take advantage of this offer at any authorized Mini dealership across India. However, it is important to note that while the Mini Cooper S is eligible for this program, the Countryman model does not qualify. The Mini Countryman, like its counterpart, is also offered as a completely built-up unit in India but is manufactured at the BMW Group Plant in Leipzig, Germany.
