Vivo Y21 5G was introduced in India by the Chinese smartphone company on Wednesday as the newest member of its Y series. The device was launched together with the new Vivo Y11 5G. Both devices are set to be available in India through the company’s website and various physical stores. The Vivo Y21 5G comes in three different RAM and storage setups, whereas the Vivo Y11 5G will have two storage choices. Both new smartphones in the Vivo Y series are powered by 6,500mAh batteries. They also use the same octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6000 series processor. The starting price for the Vivo Y21 5G in India is Rs. 18,999 for the model with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The higher configuration with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is priced at Rs. 20,999. The highest variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs Rs. 22,999. The company provides an instant cashback of up to Rs. 1,500 on certain bank cards. Meanwhile, the Vivo Y11 5G starts at Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB+64GB configuration, while the top version with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is sold for Rs. 16,999. Buyers can receive cashback of up to Rs. 1,000 for the Vivo Y11 5G with selected bank cards.

The new Y series smartphones are now available for purchase in India on Flipkart and the Vivo India online shop. The Vivo Y21 5G comes in Champagne Gold and Midnight Blue colors, while the Vivo Y11 5G is available in Midnight Blue and Sunrise Gold hues. Both the Vivo Y21 5G and Vivo Y11 5G support dual SIM and operate on Vivo's OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16. Each phone features a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD touchscreen, offering a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 1200 nits. The company states that the screens are TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certified. In addition, the phones are rated IP65 for dust and water protection and are SGS-certified for military-grade shock resistance. The Vivo Y21 5G and Vivo Y11 5G are powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which includes six efficiency cores at 2.0GHz and two performance cores with a peak speed of 2.4GHz. Furthermore, the Vivo Y21 5G has up to 8GB of RAM, while the Vivo Y11 5G offers a maximum of 4GB of RAM. Both devices include up to 128GB of internal storage.

In terms of cameras, both models in the Y series have two rear camera setups, which include a QVGA secondary camera. The Vivo Y21 5G includes a main camera with 50 megapixels on its back. Meanwhile, the Vivo Y11 5G has a 13-megapixel camera on its rear side. Each of these smartphones comes with 5-megapixel front cameras for taking selfies and making video calls. They also come with different modes like Night, Portrait, Pro, Time-lapse, and Live Photo. The Vivo Y21 5G and Vivo Y11 5G are powered by batteries of 6,500mAh, with the former supporting 44W fast charging and the latter 15W. Additionally, both devices are compatible with 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, have USB Type-C ports, and include GPS for staying connected. For security, both phones have fingerprint scanners located on the side.
